Men's card / Nadia's challenge blog

Hoi, vandaag is er weer een nieuwe challenge van start gegaan bij Nadia. De challenge is deze keer een mannenkaart met een stempel. Bovenstaand kaartje is mijn bijdrage. De stempel is van Penny Black en gekleurd met mijn copics. De tekst van het label komt van TLC en heb ik een beetje aangepast aan mijn kaart. Daarna heb ik nog twee touwtjes geknoopt; maar dat was voor mij echt visserslatijn. Met deze knoopjes kun je dus geen visje vangen. Ik wil jullie allemaal uitnodigen om mee te doen met onze challenge.

Hi, today we have started a new challenge at Nadia's. The challenge this time is to make a men's card and use a stamp on it. The above card is my contribution. The stamp is from Penny Black and has been coloured with my copics. The text on the label is from TLC and has been adapted a little bit to fit my card. After that I have knotted two little strings, but this was not so easy, so fish cannot be caught with these. Please join us.

Kenny K skate chick

Hoi, leuk dat je weer even komt kijken. Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor een vriendin van mijn dochter. Het is een dank-je-wel kaartje, omdat ze voor mij altijd de behangachtergrondjes meeneemt als ze naar de doe het zelf zaak gaan om te shoppen voor hun nieuwe huis. Inmiddels heb ik al een aardige verzameling mogen ontvangen. Ook voor dit kaartje heb ik twee verschillende stukjes gebruikt, zodat ze ziet wat ik er mee doe.

Hi, nice of you to drop by again. This card was made for a friend of my daughter. It is a thank-you card, as the friend always brings me the wall paper sheets (which I use as DP) from the shop as they are buying stuff for their new home. In the mean time she has brought me a nice stock of them. For this card I have used two different ones, so she can see how I use it.

Het plaatje is een digi van Kenny K en was destijds een freebie. Ik heb haar ingekleurd met copics, maar omdat ik het tijdens mijn vakantie heb gekleurd heb ik geen kleurnummers genoteerd. Haar armbanden en oorbellen heb ik nog een behandeling met de spica pen gegeven voor wat bling.

The image is a digi from Kenny K which I downloaded at the time it was a monthly freebie. She has been coloured with copics, but I have done this during my holiday I did not make a note of the colours used. Her bracelets and earrings have been treated with a spica pen for some bling.

Het label heb ik zelf gemaakt op de computer. Nog wat turquoise parels in de hoek voor de finishing touch.

The label was homemade at the computer. Some turquois pearls in the corner for the finishing touch.

Lighthouse at the beach

Kaartje gemaakt voor een wedstrijd bij de borduurmaatjes. Geborduurd met Mettler. Het plaatje komt uit mijn voorraad en ik weet helaas niet meer van wie het is. Dit doet me terug denken aan de pas genoten vakantie in het mooie Zeeuwse land.

Card made for a challenge at the borduurmaatjes. Embroidered with Mettler. The image is from my stash and unfortunately I don't know which brand it is. This image reminds me of my recent holiday at the beatiful coast in the south of the Netherlands.

Kiama challenge

Hoi, dit kaartje is gemaakt voor de april borduur challenge bij Kiama. Je kunt daar het patroontje aanvragen. Ik heb zoals gewoonlijk geborduurd met Mettler garen. Het designpapier komt uit een blok van de Action. Een paar strass bloemetjes in de hoeken.  De afbeelding komt uit het Sarah Kay mini pyramids boekje van Studiolight. Hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden.

Hello, this card was made for the April embroidery challenge at Kiama. At their blog you can ask the pattern to join. As usual I have embroidered with Mettler yarn. The DP is from a pad bought at Action. A few strass flowers in the corners. The image comes from a Sarah Kay mini pyramid booklet of Studiolight. Hope you like my creation.

Dutch Tulips

Hoi, dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt met een borduurpatroon wat ik ontving via de borduurmaatjes.
Ik heb er een Hollands bloemenkaartje van gemaakt met een piramide afbeelding met tulpen.
Geborduurd met Mettler. Afbeelding is van Studiolight. De kaart is nu onderweg naar een vriendin in Italie voor haar verjaardag, dus kan ik hem hier wel laten zien.

This card was made with an embroidery pattern which I received through the borduurmaatjes. I have turned it into a Dutch flower card by using a piramid image of Studiolight with tulips. Stitching has been done with Mettler yarn. This card is on its way to an Italian friend for her birthday, so I can show it here as well.

Design Team Nadia's challenge blog

Hoi allemaal,

Dan nu het goede nieuws:
Ik ben door Nadia gevraagd om lid te worden van haar design team. Daar hoefde ik natuurlijk geen minuut over na te denken. Elke 2 weken is er een challenge, de ene keer met 3D en de andere keer met een stempel. Neem maar eens een kijkje op het challenge blog. Ik ben heel blij dat ik deel uit mag maken van dit leuke team. Ik hoop jullie snel iets van mijn creaties voor dit blog te laten zien.

On to the good news:

I have been asked by Nadia to join her design team. No thinking here of course, I said YES in a blink of an eye. Every forthnight there is a new challenge, one time with 3D and the other time with stamps. Go over and take a look at the challenge blog. I am very excited to be part of this lovely team. Hope to show you soon my first creations for this blog.
