Hoi, deze doosjes heb ik gisteravond vlug in elkaar gezet. Wat bleek: de juffen van mijn zoon vierden vandaag hun verjaardag, maar volgens de nieuwsbrief van de school zou het feest pas volgende week zijn. Dat werd dus even een spoedklusje.
Hi, these boxes have been put together very quickly last night. It turned out that the two teachers of my son celebrated their birthday today, but according to the newsletter from school the party would be next week. OMG, this turned out to be a very speedy kind of job.
Het patroon voor deze doosjes heb ik ooit gezien op de site van Create4fun en is zeer simpel en snel te maken (met de cuttlebug en labels one). Voor dit doosje heb ik uit donkerroze cardstock twee labels one (de grootste) gesneden. De digi komt van Di's Digi Downloads en is gekleurd met copics. De afdruk heb ik ook met de grootste label one uitgesneden, maar daar heb ik het embosrandje afgeknipt, zodat je een mooi smal randje krijgt. Uit een stukje creme cardstock heb ik het doosje gemaakt. De binnenkant van de deksel is afgewerkt met designpapier van de Action. Nog wat organzalint hier en daar er tussen vast zetten om het doosje dicht te kunnen maken aan het eind. Vier theelichtjes erin en klaar is je cadeau.
The tutorial for these boxes I have found some months ago at the Create4fun site. They are very simple and fast to be made (with Cuttlebug and labels one). For this box I cut two pieces of darkpink cardstock with labels one (the biggest). The image is a digi from Di's Digi Downloads and I have coloured it with copics. The image has also been cut with label one, but here I used my scissors to take the little embossed border out, so you get a small matting around. From a piece of cream cardstock I made a little box. The inside of the lid has been decorated with designpaper from Action. Some organzaribbon here and there to close the box in the end. Four little candles in the box and ready is your little present.
Het tweede doosje is op dezelfde manier gemaakt. Deze keer heb ik echter mintgroen cardstock gebruikt voor de bodem en de deksel. Het afdrukje heb ik gekregen van een lieve hobbyvriendin (bedankt Francien) en is van Tina Wenke. Ook dit afdrukje heb ik weer ingekleurd met copics en de tulpen hebben nog een finishing touch met spica gekregen.
The second box is made in the same way. Only this time I used light green cardstock for the bottom and the lid. The image is a stamp from Tina Wenke which has also been coloured with copics. The tulips have got a final treatment with a Spica pen.
De juffen waren zeer blij verrast met hun mooie cadeautje.
The teachers were very happy with their little nice gift.
