HOERA - 70 !!

Hoi, daar ben ik al weer met een kaartje.
Onderstaand kaartje heb ik  gemaakt voor mijn vader die onlangs 70 is geworden.

This one was made for my dad who turned 70 lately.

 Een tekstfreebie van TLC in een bijpassend kadertje geplaatst en verhoogd opgeplakt.
A freebie from TLC, thanks Paulette, placed in a frame and stuck on the card with some 3D tape.

De bloem en vlinder zijn stansen van Joy. Het DP achter de afbeelding en de geborduurde cijfers is van Docrafts V&A; dit is erg mooi papier en heeft een soort linnenstructuur. Waar de brads vandaan komen weet ik helaas zelf ook niet meer. Ik heb de cijfers in ieder geval geborduurd met Mettler garen, kleur 9978.
The flower and butterflies are dies from Joy. The DP is from Docrafts V&A; this is very gorgeous paper and looks like linen. The brads are from my stash; no idea where they are coming from. Stitching has been done with Mettler 9978.

Op de achterkant heb ik een klein envelopje gemaakt; het randje is afgewerkt met een Martha Stewart Doily Lace randpons.
At the backside I made a small envelope; the edge was made with a MS Doily Lace borderpunch.

In het envelopje heb ik een tag gedaan die ik heb gekregen van mijn teammaatje en vriendin Lotte; een sticker erop en een lintje erdoor (iets te hard aangetrokken.....) en mijn vader was zeer in zijn nopjes met deze kaart.
In the envelope a tag (from my lovely teambuddy and friend Lotte) with a "congratulations" sticker, some ribbon (fastened a little bit too tight ...) and my father was very happy with his card.

Het bovenstaande kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor challenge 101 van Elke Kaart Een Feestje; de vraag was om aan de slag te gaan met de sketch die je op hun blog kunt vinden.
The above card was made for challenge 101 of Elke Kaart Een Feestje; you had to work with a sketch, which you can find on their blog.

De blaadjes zijn gemaakt met een Crealies stans uit DP van Action.
De zalm roosjes en het terra roosje komen uit de webshop van Anmacreatief.

De tekst is een freebie van TLC, dank je wel Paulette. Deze heb ik verhoogd opgeplakt.

De grannie komt ook uit de webshop van Anmacreatief en heb ik vastgezet met een brad uit Denemarken.
The grannie is also from Anmacreatief's webshop and I have fastened it with a brad bought in Denmark.

De stempel is van Nellie Snellen en heet Young Rebels - Parrot. Ik heb haar ingekleurd met copics en heb de volgende kleurtjes gebruikt (0-C1-W5-YR00-YR02-YG11-YG63-YG67-Y11-E31-E35-E37-E33-E50-E51-E53). Daarna heb ik haar uitgesneden met een nestability Scalloped Oval en erachter nog een extra stukje groen cardstock eveneens uitgesneden met scalloped oval.
The stamp is by Nellie Snellen and is called Young Rebels - Parrot. I have coloured her with copics (see colournumbers mentioned above). After that I have cut her with a SB die scalloped oval as well as the piece of green cardstock behind the image.

 Het DP komt uit vintage blokjes van de Action en het lint is van Deco en heb ik gekocht in Denemarken.
The DP is from vintage paper packs from Action and the ribbon is by Deco and was bought in Denmark.

Papertake weekly challenge

Hoi allemaal, leuk dat jullie weer even langs komen. Omdat het vandaag buiten te warm was voor mijn persoontje, ben ik na het supporteren van de kinderen gauw in mijn freubelhoek gedoken en heb weer diverse kaartjes (af)gemaakt. Vandaar de 3e post voor vandaag. Ik had van de week bij PTW een leuke sketch gezien, dus naar aanleiding daarvan heb ik bovenstaand kaartje gemaakt.

Hi everybody, so nice to see you here again. Because it was too warm for little me today, I went to my craft room after being supporter at the kids sports games and finished some cards. That's the reason for my 3rd post of today. Last week I saw the lovely sketch at PTW, so with regard to that I made the above card.

Ik heb twee verschillende DP papiertjes gebruikt uit vintage blokjes van de Action. Het groene papier met stipjes is van My Minds Eye en komt van Anmacreatief. Verder heb ik een soort van lint gemaakt met de MS randpons butterflies.  Ik heb nog wat losse vlinders geponst uit restjes DP papier. De tekst is van TLC - Paulette en vind ik perfect passen bij deze Penny Black stempel.

I have used two different DP papers from vintage blocks bought at Action. The green paper with dots is from My Minds Eye and was bought at Anmacreatief. Furthermore I have punched a kind of ribbon with the MS border punch butterflies. Also I punched some butterflies out of little pieces scrappaper. The text is from TLC - Paulette and I think it fits this Penny Black image perfectly.

Het plaatje is gekleurd met mijn copics, maar omdat ik het plaatje al ergens in het voorjaar een keer gekleurd heb, ben ik inmiddels mijn aantekeningen kwijt welke nummers ik gebruikt heb. Sorry daarvoor.

The image has been coloured with my copics, but since this image was coloured somewhere during spring, I have lost my little sticky note on which numbers have been used. I am so sorry.

Nadia's challenge # 8 - Black & White + 1 kleur

Hoi het is alweer tijd voor challenge 8 bij Nadia; deze keer is de opdracht om een kaart/creatie te maken in de kleuren zwart, wit met 1 andere kleur. Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal weer iets moois gaan inzenden.
Hi time for another challenge at Nadia; this time it should be a card in black-white+1 colour. I hope you all will join us with your beautiful creations.

Dit is mijn kaart geworden/This is how my card turned out:

Het witte achtergrond vel met de tekst heb ik van een hobbyvriendin gekregen. De rozet is gemaakt met de rozetmaker van Crealies. Daarboven op heb ik met nestabilies een scalloped circle gesneden uit paars designpapier van de Action. Ook heb ik uit het zelfde papier 4 vlinders geponst. De stempel is een digi van Paulette - TLC en deze is ingekleurd met copics en vervolgens ook met een scalloped circle uitgesneden. In de hoeken nog een paarse bling.
The white background with text was a gift from a friend. The rosette has been made with a special tool from Crealies. On top of that I have cut a scalloped circle out of DP paper bought at Action. From the same paper I have punched 4 butterflies. The stamp is a digi from Paulette - TLC and has been coloured with copics and afterwards also cut out with a nestability scalloped circle. In the corner some purple rhinestones.

Penny Black & TLC

Hoi allemaal, dank je wel weer voor jullie bezoek. Dit keer een vrij simpel kaartje (voor de voorraad). Het DP papier is een freebie van Paulette - TLC. Ook de tekst van het label komt bij Paulette vandaan. Ik heb er alleen op de computer een ovaal in de passende kleur bij gemaakt. De stempel is van Penny Black. Ingekleurd met de copics; wederom op de camping, dus geen lijstje met kleurnummers.

Hi everybody, thanks for your visit. This time a simple card (for my own stock). The DP paper is a freebie from Paulette at TLC. Also the text from the label is hers. The only thing I did about it was give it the right colour and put an oval around it with the computer. The stamp is from Penny Black. I have coloured with my copics, but as I did it at the camping site, I have no note of the colours used.

Men's card / Nadia's challenge blog

Hoi, vandaag is er weer een nieuwe challenge van start gegaan bij Nadia. De challenge is deze keer een mannenkaart met een stempel. Bovenstaand kaartje is mijn bijdrage. De stempel is van Penny Black en gekleurd met mijn copics. De tekst van het label komt van TLC en heb ik een beetje aangepast aan mijn kaart. Daarna heb ik nog twee touwtjes geknoopt; maar dat was voor mij echt visserslatijn. Met deze knoopjes kun je dus geen visje vangen. Ik wil jullie allemaal uitnodigen om mee te doen met onze challenge.

Hi, today we have started a new challenge at Nadia's. The challenge this time is to make a men's card and use a stamp on it. The above card is my contribution. The stamp is from Penny Black and has been coloured with my copics. The text on the label is from TLC and has been adapted a little bit to fit my card. After that I have knotted two little strings, but this was not so easy, so fish cannot be caught with these. Please join us.

A lot of FROGS!!

Onderstaande serie kaarten heb ik voor vrienden gemaakt die iets met - je raadt het al - kikkers hebben.
The below serie of cards was made for friends who have something with frogs.

Gebruikt materiaal / Used material:
spellbinders bloemen / flowers
spellbinders scalloped circles
paars / purple cardstock
3 paarse plaksteentjes / 3 purple rhinestones
een paar blije kikkers / some happy frogs

 Voor deze kaart heb ik geborduurd met Mettler garen. Patroontje uit een hobbydol. Afbeelding met een cirkelsnijder uitgesneden zodat het in het borduursel past. Nog een mooie hoekpons gebruikt en klaar.

This card has been embroidered with Mettler yarn. Pattern from a
hobbydol. Image cut with a circle cutter to make it fit with the embroidery. A beautiful corner punch used and card finished.






Voor deze kaart heb ik DP papier uit een vintageblok van Action gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met Nestabilities scalloped circles net als het onderliggende papier. Tot slot een bloem gemaakt met diverse MD creatables. Nog 4 rode plaksteentjes tot slot.
For this card I have used DP from a vintage block bought at Action. The image has been cut with nestabilities scalloped circles, just like the piece of paper beneath. Finally a flower made with several MD creatables. Some red rhinestones in the corners and the flower heart.

Some bunny to love - part 2

 Hier is dan het tweede kaartje van de prikketting. Patroontje is ook weer van Chrissie (wel een van mijn favorieten om te borduren). Weer geborduurd met Mettler garen.
This is the second card made for the "prikketting". Pattern is again from Chrissie (one of my favorites to embroider). I have used Mettler yarn again.

 Het plaatje is weer van "Some bunny to love". Deze afbeeldingen vind ik erg lief. Het knipvel is wederom van Studiolight. Hier een close-up zodat je de diepte ziet.

De tekst is van TLC en die heb ik met Word bewerkt om er voor te zorgen dat die bij mijn kaart paste.

Card for Jack with a hug

This card was made with a special purpose; one of my blogging friends has made a special request for it; please check it out here at Debbie's. I have been following her for a long time now and know that she has had some difficult times with Jack. As I have a nephew about the same age and who is also autistic I know how this can be (although not so close as Debbie). I have used a sentiment from TLC. The borders have been punched with Martha Stewart punch (don't know the name) and the waterdrops are just punched with a small punch and have been treated with stickles. Hoi, deze kaart heb ik op speciaal verzoek gemaakt van Debbie. Haar zoon is autistisch en gaat nu naar een speciale school, maar de eerste 4 weken mag hij geen bezoek van/aan thuis hebben. Om haar zoon te ondersteunen in deze tijd heeft Debbie gevraagd om hem een HUG te sturen. Het sentiment is van TLC. De achtergrondkaartjes zijn geponst met een Martha Stewart randpons. De waterdruppels met een gewone pons. De druppels zijn nog even bewerkt met stickles. Piramideplaatje komt van Studiolight.

1 kaart - 2 challenges

Hoi, onderstaande kaart heb ik gemaakt om mee te kunnen doen aan twee challenges. Deze keer een traptree kaartje. Stempel van Magnolia ingekleurd met derwents. Heb de volgende kleuren gebruikt: C190- C520-C530-C560-C570-C580-C590-C670. Wat bloemen uit Action designpapier blok gesneden met de cuttlebug en MD creatables. Een half pareltje van Kars in het hart. De geemboste randjes versiert met stickles. Voor de achtergrond heb ik een scrapvel verknipt uit een pakket gekocht bij Action. Het sentiment is van TLC;  ik heb het uitgeprint en er omheen een wolkje getekend en uitgeknipt.

This card was made to join two challenges. I have used a Magnolia stamp which has been coloured with Derwents. I have used the following colours: C190-C520-C530-C560-C570-C580-C590-C670. I have cut some flowers from Action design paper with my cuttlebug and MD creatables. The embossed rims have had a treatment with stickles. Half a pearl in the heart completes the flowers.  For the background I have used a scrap paper from a package bought  at Action. The sentiment is from TLC; I have it printed, draw a cloud around it and cut it with scissors.

Birthday card for my daughter

Daar is ie dan, de kaart waar een iemand heel nieuwsgierig naar was. Aangezien mijn dochter vandaag jarig is en ze straks als ze wakker wordt deze kaart krijgt, kan ik hem nu eindelijk laten zien. Het borduurpatroon was het verrassingspatroon van januari bij de Borduurmaatjes. De stempel is van Magnolia en is ingekleurd met copics. Het sentiment is van TLC. Verder nog wat organzalint gestrikt en een hoefijzercharm. Ik weet zeker dat mijn dochter een gat in de lucht springt als ze deze kaart krijgt. HIEP HIEP HOERA !!

Finally, the card where a certain girl was very curious about. But as my daughter has her birthday today and will get it later on when she wakes up I can finally show it here. The embroidery pattern was the surprise pattern for January at the Borduurmaatjes. The stamp is from Magnolia and has been coloured with my copics. The sentiment is from TLC. I have added a horseshoe-charm to some organza ribbon and added that as well. I know for sure that my daughter will jump for joy when she gets it. HOORAY!!

DT-call bij TLC creations

Hoi, Paulette van TLC (zie link in sidebar) had vorige week een oproep gedaan voor nieuwe DT-leden. Ik was een van de gelukkigen die door de voorronde was gekomen. Daarna kregen we een opdracht om een kaart te maken met een "slider"-sentiment. Mijn kaart staat wel op haar blog, temidden van diverse andere mooie creaties. Helaas ben ik het niet geworden. Ben benieuwd wat jullie van mijn creatie vinden.
Hi, Paulette from TLC (see link in sidebar) had a DT-call last week. I was one of the happy few that came through the first round. After that we got some "slider"-sentiments and the request to make something nice with it. My card is featured on her blog in between several others. Unfortunately I did not make it in the team. But still I am curious what you think of my creation.

Het plaatje is van Studiolight (Strawberry Shortcake). Ik heb de bloemetjes onderin het witte kaartje geborduurd en voorzien van een strass hart. Sentiments van TLC.

Precious Moments

Hoi, kaartje gemaakt om te versturen aan familie of vrienden (aangezien ik nog niet klaar ben, weet ik nog niet waar deze uit gaat komen). De digistamp is van precious moments en is ooit een freebie geweest bij Create4fun. Ingekleurd met copics.  Basiskaart is geembossed met de cuttlebug. Digi is uitgestanst met nestability label one. Sentiment is van TLC - uitgesneden met scalloped circle. Sneeuw is bewerkt met stickles. Ik vind deze plaatjes altijd een erg hoog oh-gehalte hebben.

Digistamp is from Precious Moments and has been a freebie some time ago at Create4fun. Coloured with my copics. Basic card is embossed with cuttlebug. Digi is cut with nestability Label one. Sentiment is from TLC - cut with scalloped circle. Snow has been treated with stickles. I find these kind of pictures always very cute.
