Duymelot wedstrijd

Hoi, via Creashop Duymelot ben ik bij hun Duymelot Design Team terecht gekomen. Deze hebben voor de maand januari een leuke wedstrijd. Maak een kaart/creatie met de sketch aldaar, gebruik een Magnolia stempel en de kleurencombi blauw/bruin. Dit vind ik wel een uitdaging en bovenstaande kaart is er bij mij uitgekomen.

Hi, through Creashop Duymelot I ended up at their Duymelot Design Team. They have a nice challenge for the month of January. Make a card with their sketch, use a Magnolia stamp and the colourcombo brown/blue. I find this combo very tempting and the above card is what is my result of this.

Ik heb de volgende materialen gebruikt:
Magnolia "Fairy Dust Tilda"
Copics: E53-E51-E50-RV10-B00-BG10-BG05-BG07-BG09-W7-W5-W3
Stardust glitterlijm aqua (Pipoos)
Tekst sentiment: stempel (Action) afgedrukt met Versa color (159 Mountain lake).
Het randje om de stempel is gemaakt met colorbox cocoa.
Het bruine en bruin/blauwe designpapier zijn (schrik niet) stukjes behangstaaltjes (vrij te krijgen bij iedere grote doe-het-zelf-keten). Het blauw-witte designpapier komt uit een vintageblokje van de Action.
Tot slot nog 3 aquakleurige halve parels (Kars).

Stardust stickles glue aqua (Pipoos)
Sentiment: stamp (Action) printed with Versa color (159 Mountain lake).
The thin line around the image is colorbox cocoa.
The brown and brown/blue designpaper are (don't panic) pieces of wallpaper (which you can easily get at each big store in wallpapers/paint etc). The blue/white designpaper is from a vintage paperstack from Action.
In the end I put 3 semi-pearls in aqua-colour (Kars).

Borduurmaatjes - wekenwedstrijd

Bij de Borduurmaatjes kun je (als je lid bent) meedoen aan de wekenwedstrijd. Dit is het kaartje wat ik heb gemaakt met het patroon van week 1. Natuurlijk weer geborduurd met Mettler garen. Plaatje is van  Morehead.

When you have joined Borduurmaatjes (only available for Dutch-speaking people) you can join an embroidery game. You will receive a pattern and have to make a card within a bi-weekly timeframe. This card I have made with the pattern I received for week 1 of this game. With what else could it have been embroidered as Mettler yarn. Image is from Morehead.

Borduurmaatjes - verzoekpatroon

Hoi, voor de borduurmaatjes heb ik met het verzoekpatroon van deze maand onderstaand kaartje gemaakt. Natuurlijk is er geborduurd met Mettler garen. Als afdrukje heb ik "Sneezing Henry" van Whiff of Joy gebruikt; het is zo'n schattig muisje en ik heb hem gekleurd met copics. Verder nog wat bling in het hart van de bloemetjes.

Hi, for the Borduurmaatjes group I have made this card with the pattern on request for this month. Of course I have embroidered it again with Mettler yarn. I have used "Sneezing Henry"  from Whiff of Joy and coloured him with copics. He is a cute little fellow. For some bling I have added rhinestones in the heart of each corner flower.

Challenge 17 bij Derwent-blog

Hoi, dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt voor challenge 17 bij allesmetenoverkleurenmetderwents - thema: alles mag, als het maar gekleurd is met derwents. Borduurpatroontje is van Sjaak van Went. Geborduurd met Mettler. De hoekpons is van Martha Stewart.

This card I have made for the challenge 17 at allesmetenoverkleurenmetderwents - theme: anything goes, as long as colouring has been done with Derwents. Embroidery pattern is from Sjaak van Went and of course it has been embroidered with Mettler yarn. The corner punch is from Martha Stewart.

DT-call bij TLC creations

Hoi, Paulette van TLC (zie link in sidebar) had vorige week een oproep gedaan voor nieuwe DT-leden. Ik was een van de gelukkigen die door de voorronde was gekomen. Daarna kregen we een opdracht om een kaart te maken met een "slider"-sentiment. Mijn kaart staat wel op haar blog, temidden van diverse andere mooie creaties. Helaas ben ik het niet geworden. Ben benieuwd wat jullie van mijn creatie vinden.
Hi, Paulette from TLC (see link in sidebar) had a DT-call last week. I was one of the happy few that came through the first round. After that we got some "slider"-sentiments and the request to make something nice with it. My card is featured on her blog in between several others. Unfortunately I did not make it in the team. But still I am curious what you think of my creation.

Het plaatje is van Studiolight (Strawberry Shortcake). Ik heb de bloemetjes onderin het witte kaartje geborduurd en voorzien van een strass hart. Sentiments van TLC.

Hobbyscrapcards challenge

Hoi, op de blog van hobbyscrapcards & gifts (zie banner in sidebar) is er een leuke challenge aan de gang.
Het is gebaseerd op een recept met afmetingen en moet een winters plaatje hebben. 

Hi, on the blog of Hobbyscrapcards & gifts (see the banner in my sidebar) they have a nice challenge going. It is based on a kind of recipe with sizes and has to be with a picture/stamp regarding winter.

Ik heb onderstaande kaart gemaakt. Stempel is Willow with hot chocolat (voor de Nederlanders onder ons: in de bekende gele mok). Afgewerkt met een MS-pons. Papier van diverse merken. Bloem is MD-creatable. Verder nog wat bling toegevoegd met strass steentjes.

I have made the card below for this challenge. Stamp: Willow with hot chocolat (for the Dutch people among us: in the famous yellow cup). Border with MS-punch. Paper is from several brands. Flower is a MD-creatable. And of course some bling with a few strass stones.

Willow is ingekleurd met copics. Helaas geen kleurnummers meer (notitiebriefje kwijt tussen alle hobbyspullen op mijn bureau).
Willow has been coloured with copics, unfortunately I lost my post-it in the mess on my desk, so no colournumbers anymore available.

Borduurwedstrijd gewonnen

Allereerst voor al mijn bloglezers een heel gezond, gelukkig en vooral creatief 2011 toegewenst!!!

First to all my readers I wish you a healthy, happy and above all very creative 2011!!!

Op de laatste dag van het afgelopen jaar bleek dat ik de borduurwedstrijd bij de borduurmaatjes had gewonnen met mijn kaart uit de post van 27 december.

The last day of 2010 it turned out that I had won the embroidery challenge at the borduurmaatjes with my card posted on December 27.

Goed uiteinde / Very well ending of last year.
